Full Body Summer Warm-Up: Before You Move, Prep Your Body
Summer schedules often mean more activity.
Outdoor workouts. Running. Golf. Pickleball. Travel. Longer walks and more time moving.
But many people skip one important step before activity:
The warm-up.
At Apex Personal Training, we encourage clients to think of warm-ups as preparation - not punishment.
A few minutes of dynamic movement can help prepare your body for exercise and support better movement quality throughout your workout or activity.
Why Warm-Ups Matter
Dynamic warm-ups use movement to prepare the body rather than holding long static stretches.
This approach may help:
- improve mobility
- increase circulation
- activate muscles
- reduce stiffness
- support better movement and performance
The goal is not to get tired.
It is to get ready.
